The Conservatorio Statale di Musica Cesare Pollini in Padua, the leading partner in the ROLE project, is one of Italy’s oldest and most respected music conservatories. With a rich history of musical education, it plays a key role in the project’s mission to preserve and innovate opera through digitisation and film-opera production. Its expertise in music history and education ensures the success of ROLE, bridging tradition and modernity in the world of opera and education.

The ROLE project unveils its official logo and brand identity, blending classical elegance with modern cinematic storytelling. The design features strong serif typography, symbolising opera's heritage, while the integrated film reel within the "O" highlights its connection to audiovisual media. Created by Spanish graphic designer María Fornieles, the logo ensures a dynamic, adaptable, and memorable visual presence for the project’s innovative approach to opera education.

The first online meeting of the ROLE project, funded by the European Union, took place with partners from the Conservatorio Statale di Musica Cesare Pollini and AEC. Updates on the website development and communication strategy were shared. All materials will be officially presented at the kick-off meeting in Padua on 29–30 May 2025. Partners confirmed next steps and expressed enthusiasm for the work ahead.
